Vorwerk Chick (Unsexed)

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please read our Guide to Rearing Chicks before purchasing. If you need a heat lamp/brooder, chick-safe drinker, feeder, and chick food, these can be ordered from our online shop for collection at the same time as your chicks.

Vorwerk chicks cannot be sexed at hatch, so there is an equal chance that a chick may be male or female. Do not purchase unsexed chicks if you cannot keep or re-home cockerels.

Characteristics: Vorwerks are rare and attractive purebred chickens that enjoy free-ranging but are also fine in a large run. They are hardy birds.

Chicks are sold from one day old to two weeks of age and are health-checked before sale. If you have any concerns about a chick you have purchased, please contact us immediately. We offer a 48-hour return period during which we will take back the chick and either swap it for a suitable alternative (if available) or issue a refund for the price paid.
